Product Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Grass Human being from Cut through Tall Grass similar Butter! [This review was collected equally part of a promotion.] I received my XT2 LX42 just the other twenty-four hours. My old mower had finally fleck the dust, and my lawn looked like a jungle! I started the XT2 LX42 and then fix the cutting pinnacle to 3-1/ii. As soon equally I hitting the grass, it started spitting out grass similar a hay bailer! I think this is the well-nigh fun I've had cutting the lawn in all the years that I've been cut -- and that'south a long time! The entire time I was cutting the grass the engine was set at it's lowest setting, and the forward/opposite throttle control was easy to employ. Can't wait for the extreme mulching kit to be bachelor, as the grass really shoots out forcefully and at a great distance.

Rated two out of 5 by CC463 from XT2 LX42 [This review was collected as office of a promotion.] Impossible to lower anti-scalp wheels to 1/ii or i/four" from footing as directed in manual. Mechanic at Cub dealer suggested removing and then rewelding the brackets. On a redesigned mower costing over $2500.

Rated v out of five by Circle P Ranch from 4th year in use review [This review was collected as role of a promotion.] OK, you purchase a production and register it and they desire a review. You get I brought it home, fired it upwardly and information technology worked great! I don't practice reviews similar that, I use the production over and over and so maybe will write a review. I've endemic my Cub for 4 years at present, here's a real review. This is without a doubt the best lawn mower I've e'er owned! I've had 3 other brands that never performed as well as this Cub Buck. We take fifty acres in northern MN and I routinely mow iv+ every 1-2 weeks and sometimes mode more if I go into my pasture and deer food plots. I was leery of the hydrostatic drive every bit all my others had select a speed levers, this bulldoze has never permit me down, it'southward like shooting fish in a barrel and seamless. Never had a Kawasaki engine, all Briggs or Koehler's in the by, The Kawasaki starts EVERY fourth dimension, runs great and has slap-up torque to ability through the tough stuff. Maintenance: In 4 years I've inverse the oil and filter twice, sharpened the blades twice, blew out the air filter twice. The original battery is still proficient and with a wash every now and once again information technology looks as good as new. The welded deck was important to me equally I mow over a lot of sticks and branches that I don't pick up. The mower is parked in an unheated garage during the winter, I put Stabil in the gas when I park it. Fires upwards first try in the spring. I admittedly consider this Cub Cadet ane of the best investments I've ever made! quaternary twelvemonth use review, it's been thru hell and back and notwithstanding runs too equally it did the first time when I was asked to review it! Admittedly V STARS!!

Rides like a dream, cuts like a dream, and the bagger swell likewise.... it looks really skilful also!

Rated v out of 5 by Sevi from Black hood is the newer 2021 model [This review was collected every bit part of a promotion.] But got it today after waiting a couple of months for the new 2021 model to come up out. First of all please make sure you lot look at the reviews for people that got the newer 2021 model with the black hood, non the older 2020 model with full yellowish hood. The difference between the old and the new model is that it has the best engine, Kawasaki and a heavy duty made desk-bound , not stamped. These ii features you will usually find information technology in the higher models but the XT2 for them , then that's the ane yous want. Regarding the deck 42 inches is sufficient since it does not stick too much on the left side, when you sit on the tractor and looo down, meaning less risk to catch the corner of a stone of fence. Also, this new model has a improve battery and the front wheels turn almost 90 degrees, easy to stear. This tractor replaces another Cub Buck that was 20 years onetime, and so looking for some other 20 years with this ane

Rated two out of five by pappy07 from Handles well [This review was collected as function of a promotion.] I purchased my XT2 LX42 in April 2021. I also paid for a mulching kit at the time and so far take not received it. The mower handles well but cut unevenly and scalps unlevel places in my m. The side discharge spreads the clippings so far that I tin can not determine where I accept cutting and miss places in my lawn. My grandson really liked the looks and operation of the mower and he cuts my grass, so That is the chief reason for purchasing this mower. The deck belt jumps off the pulley regardless if the PTO is engaged at low or full engine speed. He as well really wanted a Cadet Tee shirt and cap, but they are not bachelor either. I am starting to wish that I had gone back to J.D. that served me well for over x years, which I gave to my son. I am really trying hard to like this mower but I am starting to regret the purchase. My dealer is bully, but he can't help me either. It handles great and has splendid power.

Rated 1 out of 5 past Anonymous from Poor craftsmanship. Third time using the one blade savage off. I checked the underside of the deck and noticed the threads on the bolt that holds it on are stripped. Not sure where this happened but already in need of a repair.
